Is Aether a subscription?
No — the plugin is a one-time $60 purchase with free Aether 1.x updates and activation on up to three machines, and a subscription is never required. You bring your own AI provider keys or run local models, so there is no forced monthly fee. An optional Pro tier with managed AI (no keys to set up) is in the works for those who want it.
What will I pay the AI provider?
Only what you use. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or Hugging Face with your own API key — most providers charge fractions of a cent per generation and several offer free tiers. Or run a local model through Ollama or LM Studio for free.
Which DAWs and formats does Aether support?
Aether installs as AU, VST3, and Standalone for macOS and Windows, so it runs inside Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Bitwig, Reaper, and any other DAW that hosts AU or VST3 — or on its own without a DAW.
How many machines can I activate?
One license activates Aether on up to three machines at the same time, and you can manage activations from your account.
How do I get Aether after purchase?
Instantly. Your license key is emailed to you and available in your account along with the installers for macOS and Windows.
What is the refund policy?
If Aether is defective and we cannot fix it, report it within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. EU, EEA, and UK consumers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal before downloading or activating. See the refund policy for details.
